Lief Rodgers’ World Cup come-up
In his fourth year race-proving our wheels at the highest level, Port Moody-based NOBL Athlete and Elite Enduro racer Lief Rodgers had his best season to date at the UCI Enduro World Cup.
Lief was ultra-consistent, stacking five top-10 Elite Men’s results, including a 3rd in the final race in Morillon, France – hello, podium! – and culminating in a 6th Men’s Elite Overall final placement. We’re incredibly stoked to have Lief representing NOBL and proving the performance of our wheels while racing amongst the best riders in the world.
Designed and tested on the World Cup circuit
This has always been the history and tagline of our Sinewave TR37 rims, and Lief proves just that.
Wheels can make-or-break a result, a race, or even a whole season, and so many qualities stand as top priorities. Compliance, optimized cornering feedback, weight, impact resistance: racers at the Elite level don’t want to sacrifice anything.
So we engineered the front and rear specific TR37s rims so they don’t have to, and every TR37 rider benefits from these qualities!
Lief’s Custom Choice
Being a Privateer, Lief takes care of all his own mechanical work and bike care. When choosing components for his race wheels, this means that easily serviceable and ultra-reliable hubs are key.
Previously a devotee of the classic DT240EXP hubs, this year Lief transitioned to the new DT240 DEG and now swears by the increased engagement of the 90t ratchet system. Pedalling efficiency is key to enduro, too!
Laced to 29″ TR37 rims with steel spokes and alloy nipples, these wheels weigh 1772g.
Don’t just take our word for it!
“After a full season on the UCI EDR circuit, I lined up for Canadian Enduro Nationals in Bromont, Quebec — a heinously rocky track known for destroying gear. I punctured my rear tire almost out of the gate but kept riding, finishing the run nearly flat on the rim. You’d never know it looking at my TR37 — barely a scratch.
After years racing on the TR37s wheels, I’m still blown away by how tough they are.”
